About

Hi, I’m Yinon Kuperstein. Mojo Kid is the name I make music and games under.
Music. I studied electronic music production and sound design at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I write electronic music (my debut album, Waiting, was born during an 8-hour live stream) and music for games, films and podcasts. Listen
Sound design. I build sounds from scratch, with synthesis and recording rather than sample libraries, so every game gets a palette of its own. Sound design
Games and code. I’m also a software engineer who specialises in game development. I’ve built games professionally in Unity and C#, and I make my own: EarShot, an ear-training game, and Snails, a two-player race, both free to play in your browser. Play
Adaptive music. That combination is the point. I don’t hand over music files and disappear: I write the music, design the sound and wire it into the game with FMOD, Wwise or Unity, so the soundtrack reacts to what the player does. Game music and adaptive audio
Teaching and talks. I’ve taught Unity and audio middleware at Kinneret, Sapir and Shenkar colleges in Israel, and spoken at Nordic Game, Respawn, Casual Connect and Castle Game Jam. I also host Talking Sound, a Hebrew podcast about sound with 5,700+ followers. Talks and lectures · Talking Sound
