Homescape
Homescape: Atmospheric VR Soundscapes and Psychological Mystery
Homescape is a dark and eerie night – time walk through the outskirts of an Israeli village. As the viewer navigates fields, encounters animals, and explores abandoned buildings, they are confronted with the unknown – both the mysterious regions close to home and the uncharted territories of their own mind.
Developed by Yotam Rozin, the game is designed for the Oculus Rift to provide a fully immersive, atmospheric experience. My goal with the audio was to create a sense of unease that feels tactile, blurring the line between reality and the psychological landscape of the player.
While the full audio systems are still in development, you can hear the initial direction for the music and mood in the trailer below:
Technical Roles: VR Music Composition, Atmospheric Sound Design, Audio Post – Production.
