Waiting: A Debut Album Born from a Live Stream Experiment

My debut album, Waiting, had a very unconventional start. It began during my 8-hour live feed on Facebook. Knowing I would eventually need to step away to eat and recharge without stopping the stream, I developed a custom wait page featuring a dynamic timer controlled by URL parameters.

I designed the page to match the site’s aesthetic, including an animated Mojo Kid character whose mouth movement syncs with the timer. However, the screen felt incomplete without audio. I sat down to produce what I thought would be a simple background loop, but the inspiration took over. By the time I reached 26 minutes of music, I realized I hadn’t just made a loop – I had finished an album.
