The Great Conspiratea
The Great Conspiratea: Orchestral Game Music for a 19th Century Mystery
I worked on this point-and-click adventure during Castle Game Jam 2016. The game is set during a 19th-century tea party, so the game soundtrack needed a very specific, period-accurate atmosphere to pull the player into the mystery.
To capture that “Conspiratea” vibe, I chose a classical palette of strings, harpsichord, oboe, and flute. It was a fun challenge creating orchestral music for games that feels elegant yet carries that subtle tension required for a mystery setting.
The game can be played here. If you enjoy character-driven indie game sound design, give it a play!
