On the Road: Crafting a Grunge-Inspired Podcast Theme
I recently had the pleasure of creating the opening and ending themes for “On the Road – Conversations with Tuvi Pollack,” a fascinating Hebrew-language political podcast. The show features deep dives into Middle Eastern politics and Israeli social issues, requiring a theme that felt both grounded and high-energy.
When we first discussed the audio branding, Tuvi was looking for a very specific sound: 1990s Seattle Grunge. As a huge Pearl Jam fan myself, I jumped at the chance. Through a collaborative “back and forth” process, we translated his intuitive vision into a gritty, guitar-driven theme that perfectly sets the tone for his discussions.
You can listen to the full theme below. For Hebrew speakers interested in local politics, I highly recommend checking out the show—you can find Tuvi’s podcast on all major platforms.
Technical Roles: Music Composition, Audio Branding, Podcast Sound Design.
