The Pawnderers: Orchestral Intensity and Thematic Variation

This project was developed during Castle Game Jam 2016. For the soundtrack, I chose a classical orchestral palette, creating two main themes that share the same underlying musical progression but serve very different purposes within the game loop.

The first theme is designed for the calm, idle state of the game, providing a steady atmospheric backdrop. The second theme is the battle variation – I dialed up the intensity with sharp horn breaks and heavy percussion to reflect the shift in gameplay stakes.
